You may be wondering why the website seems to have gone back in time about a month? Where did those photos of the North Sydney Boys fundraising Tournament and Jack and Mitch hanging out with the Xbox 360 girls?

Well for the past year  I have been hosting Xtopia's website with Bliksem hosting. They had been pretty good until last weekend when the site went down. It turns out they just switched off the servers and closed down!  This ment that all our recent data for the website was lost.

We have now moved to a new webhost and restored a backup of the site. Our most recent backup was a month old hence why the most recent posts and photos are missing.

Over the next few days I will attempt to repost most of the missing material. Our apologies to the people who have setup accounts on the site in the last coupel of days, as you will need to creat a new account. If you sent me an email in the last 2 days, I may

Lesson learned:

Backup Daily

Don't ever use Bliksem Hosting.

North Sydney Boys Halo 2 Tournament PDF Print E-mail

Tuesday, 05 December 2006

On Thursday the 30th of November, Xtopia hosted a fundraising tournament for North Sydney Boys High School. The tournament was to raise money for the Tabitha foundation which helps lift Cambodians out of poverty by building houses for the poor.

Check out the photos in the Gallery.

 Halo 2 Final

108 Year 9 students battled it out at Halo 2 in order to raise money for their Year 10 and 11 comrades to head over to Cambodia and actually build the houses.

The tournament helped them acheive their target to raise enough to build 10 houses.

The Winner of the Tournament - Antony, won an Xbox 360 that he ended up donating back to the school to raise more money. What a legend!

Jeffrey came in second and scored some nice games for his trouble too.

Congratulation to all who participated, and look forward to you coming down to Xtopia. For those that won daypasses, just present them to our staff and you will be able to play all day.

A very big thanks to Mrs Potter who did an awesome job of organising the day and the surrounding activities.

Myself and the Lads headed off to Game1 over the weekend for a Call of Duty tournament. Unfortunately we registered too late for the Halo 2 Tourney so entered COD3 as a last minute choice. Although the guys had never played the game they came a very respectable 4th! well done guys.

We met heaps of cool people, including Luke and the guys from mygen.com.au , The Drop bears and the guys from  Gameon and Xlink.

Mitch and Jack Love Xbox 360

Game 1 is the latest convention for games in Aus and we got to play with the new NintendoWii, and a bunch of other cool stuff. It was held in conjunction with the Auto salon car show, and there was heaps of  cool cars as well (you can check some of them out in the gallery)

Here are some of the boys making Friends :)

Check out the rest of the photos here. (I will reupload these soon)
